HISTORY

Between 1971 and 1983, the success during the development of several large and complex Projects in Portugal and abroad, namely in the Middle East and Africa, led a group of Portuguese managers and experts, responsible for those Projects to join forces and create CONSULGAL for providing their vast experience to its clients.

Founded in 1983, with 100% of Portuguese equity, CONSULGAL is actually one of the largest and most prestigious Portuguese Engineering Consultancy company, offering a wide range of multidisciplinary services to its Clients, including Project Management and Works Supervisionin which it is the leading company in Portugal.

Other consultancy and management services provided by CONSULGAL are projects coordination, technical and economical studies, engineering and architectural design, planning and construction works supervision.

Initially focusing on transportation and environmental infrastructures, CONSULGAL had a decisive role in the main projects undertaken in Portugal in the last decades, as well as in important works that took place in Africa, Central and Eastern Europe, Central & Eastern Asia or Latin America.
